Just a stone’s throw away from Busan Station (where the KTX stops at!!!), Almond Hotel Busan is a 3-star hotel that has a 24hrs convenience store downstairs, and is extremely accessible to the subway, KTX and many other eateries nearby!
It was a really comfortable short stay here for 2 nights (came here when I went to visit Busan and my friends who were attending summer school here… while I was having summer school in Seoul hehe). This will be a short review as I didn’t really plan on posting about this stay (thus the photos) but just in case someone out there wants to know the specifics of the stay in this hotel… I might as well! 😆
Location
So by stone’s throw away, I mean it! It’s only 1 minute away from Busan Station (KTX)’s Exit 1; and about a 3 minute walk away from Busan Station (subway)’s Exit 6/8/10!!!

So for those who are new to this like how I was…
Busan Station (KTX) is the High Speed Rail (operated by Korail) on the Gyeongbu line. In Korean it’s 부산역 경부선(고속철도).
That’s literally:
부산 = Busan
역 = Station
경부선 = Gyeongbu Line
(고속철도) = High Speed Rail
And the other is Busan Station (subway/metro) which is on the… well, the subway/metro line. This station is on Line 1 (Orange line). In Korean it’s 부산역 부산1호선.
You can find out more about the Metro system and find maps here: https://english.busan.go.kr/bstranspor01
Room
So this is a Business room (apparently the smallest room already). Comes with a double bed, a spacious bathroom (there’s 2 parts to this) and a shoes area. No idea about the view from the window though – it was a little high for me to reach so I didn’t really bother looking out of it 😆
There isn’t a closet in the room, but there are hooks on the wall with hangers on them that you can use 🙂 The most surprising feature was a desktop computer that was provided in the room! (which yes, that also means that there is a table and chair). In general the room was very clean and comfortable to stay in! 🙂
In-room Amenities
Basic amenities such as a boiling kettle, cups, coffee/tea and a minibar (complimentary water inside) comes with the room. There were 2 pairs of slippers provided (these are the reusable ones made of leather, as compared to the usual disposable ones).
Bathroom
There’s 2 areas: Bathtub + sink area and Shower area + washlet (there’s even slippers for this area!) Both are divided by a sliding frosted glass door (no lock for this, by the way). Bath and hand towels, floor mats, and pajamas are found in the shelves below the sink area.
Other than the hair dryer, a bathroom set was also provided; comprising of a: Vanity Kit, Shaving Kit, Bubble Bath (!!!), Foam Cleanser, and Dental Kit. A small bottle of skin toner, emulsion and body lotion are also given – so as you can tell, there’s a lot of beauty-related products provided! 2 hair brushes were also provided (though not wrapped/new, so I had my reservations about using them).
I’ve also seen some photos online where there were bottles of hair spray and hair gel provided as well. I didn’t take a photo of that in my room so I can’t remember now if I had it .. 😡
Soap, Shampoo and Conditioner are in the shower area, on a rack next to the frosted glass – I missed out taking a photo of this but there were 3 big (pump) bottles of them provided! There was a vacuum-packed body sponge too 🙂
Extra Info
Luggage Storage services are also available (check out the blurry pic I took while zooming past). You can inquire about this from the humble front desk 🙂
There is also a convenience store/kombini called Ministop (may be familiar to some as this chain is also found in other countries) right outside the hotel!
